Hugo Guias dans la Takoon Family !
« J’avais un rêve ».
Hugo s’est découvert une passion pour la mer et les sports
nautiques quand il est arrivé à l’île de Ré à
l’âge de 14 ans. A 18 ans, il décide de stopper ses études pour se
concentrer uniquement sur le kite. Il part plusieurs mois au Brésil pour un
entraînement intensif et revient plus motivé que jamais.
Hugo fait partie de la jeune génération qui pousse le
freestyle en France, et va participer au tour PKRA cette année tout en
continuant ses productions vidéos.
Takoon: « Nous sommes fière de l’intégrer dans la Family, au
côté de Mallory et Rodolphe. Ce rapprochement
est naturel car Hugo colle parfaitement à l’état d’esprit Takoon. C’est un
rider qui a beaucoup de style. Hugo est très polyvalent, capable de performer
autant en freestyle qu’en surf, toujours avec le sourire. » Takoon
Hugo: « Je suis content de rejoindre une marque Française qui développe du
matériel aussi bien adapté au freestyle qu'en vague. L’état d’esprit du
team et le matériel m’ont complètement emballés. Je ride en freestyle avec la
Furia et j’utilise la Log en vague. En planche, Source 136 et Lux
134 montée en boots. Et bien sûr la Burning Gamma en surf. Pour moi
la compétition est aussi importante que les vidéos, je compte
bien évoluer sur ces 2 terrains ! »

"I had a dream."
Hugo discovered
a passion for the sea and water sports when he arrived at Ré island, France, at 14 years old. At 18, he decided
to stop his studies to focus only on kitesufing. He went to Brazil for several months for intensive
training and came back more motivated than ever.
Hugo is
part of the younger French generation that pushes freestyle riding, he will compete
on the PKRA tour this year while continuing his video productions.
Takoon: "We are proud to introduce him in the Family, next to Mallory and Rodolphe. This approximation is
natural because Hugo fits perfectly with Takoon’s spirit. He’s a rider with a
lot of style. Hugo is very versatile, able to perform in both freestyle & surfing,
always with the smile. "
Hugo: "I am
happy to join a French brand that develops products for both freestyle and wave
riding. I’m really exited by products as well as the warmth and spirit of the
team. I ride the Furia for freestyle and I use the Log in waves. Regarding
boards, I’m using Source 136 and 134 Lux with bindings. And of course the
Burning Gamma for surfing. For me contests are as important as movies, I intend
to really focus on these 2 things! »
